Let us tell you, this is going to happen after 11 years when a Hindi film is to be released on Diwali. Now Yash Raj Films is once again releasing ‘Tiger 3’ with Salman Khan. So let’s take a look at what trade analysts and film distributors have to say about this film.

Trade analyst Akshay Rathi says, “There is a lot of enthusiasm about Tiger 3 in multiplexes as well as single screens. It is clear from advance booking that people are very eager to watch Salman’s film. Looking at the advance booking so far and the response of the people, it can be said that the box office has once again given a green signal to Salman. Even though the film is releasing on Lakshmi Puja on the first day of Diwali, still the film will do good business on these two days of Diwali, the collection will increase manifold from the first day to the second day.”

YRF’s unique strategy

In a special conversation with NewsNCR Hindi Digital, Yash Raj Films’ distributor Rohan Malhotra said that if he wanted, he could have released the film on Friday, but he made a strategy that the film will be released on Sunday, the day of Diwali. Rohan admits that some people would like to stay at home during Lakshmi Puja on Diwali, less public may be seen in the shows running at that time, but for them, where it is allowed, YRF keeps showing the films till late night. This is so that the audience who cannot watch the film due to Lakshmi Puja can watch the film with their families late at night.

Rohan Malhotra further said that after 11 years a Hindi film is going to be released on Diwali. Even before this we had released a film with Shahrukh sir and now once again we are going to release a big film on Diwali and the advance booking numbers show that we are moving in the right direction.
