Indian Railways has decided to run more than 50 special trains in view of the number of passengers going home from Bihar and UP on Diwali and Chhath Puja. The special thing is that these trains will run from different states of the country to Bihar and UP. Those passengers whose tickets have not been confirmed yet, should get their reservations done in these special trains immediately. You will reach home comfortably before the festival. Train number 07651 will leave from Jalna in Maharashtra for Bihar every Wednesday at 11.35 pm. On the second day this train will reach Chhapra at 5:30 in the morning. The special thing is that this train will operate from 18th October to 29th November. Similarly, this train will also return as train number 07652. It will leave from Chapra at 10.15 pm and reach Pune at 4 am the next day. This train will operate every Friday. It will provide its services from 20 October to 1 December.
Operations will take place between 22 October and 26 November
Similarly, train number 05063 AC special will operate from Chapra to Mumbai from 20 October to 24 November. This train will leave from Chapra every Friday at 4:15 am and will reach Lokmanya Tilak Terminal at 7:25 am the next day. On the return journey, the same train will depart from Lokmanya Tilak Terminal at 12.45 pm every Sunday as train number 05064 and will reach Siwan at 03.15 pm the next day. It will operate between 22 October and 26 November.
Running more than 50 Chhath Puja and Diwali special trains
Railways is also running special trains from Delhi to Bihar. Train number 03256 will leave Anand Vihar Terminal at 11:30 pm and reach Patna Junction at 5:20 pm the next day. It will operate every Friday and Monday from October 24 to December 11. Similarly, train number 02391 will leave for Delhi from Patna Junction at 10.20 pm. This train will reach Anand Vihar Terminal at 3 pm the next day. It will operate every Saturday from 25th November to 9th December. The special thing is that Railways is running more than 50 Chhath Puja and Diwali special trains from different states.
