Their income will increase. The special thing is that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government has increased the MSP of Rabi crops from 2% to 7%. At the same time, the increase in MSP has also been approved by the Union Cabinet. Wheat, linseed, mustard, safflower, peas, gram and barley are grown in Rabi crops. These are sown in the months of October to November. Mustard production in the country

Similarly, Rajasthan is the top state in the production of mustard. It has 46.7 percent share in the total mustard produced in the country. This means that Rajasthan alone produces 46.7 percent mustard. After this comes Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal. Recently the Central Government has increased the MSP of mustard by Rs 200 per quintal. With this the minimum support price of mustard became Rs 6550 per quintal. In such a situation, the farmers of these states will benefit a lot.

inflation will also reduce

At the same time, agricultural experts say that the production of mustard is very less as per the consumption in the country. In such a situation, edible oils have to be imported from abroad. But the central government has taken the decision to increase the MSP at the right time. Because the mustard sowing season is going on right now. Due to increase in MSP, farmers will sow mustard in more area to earn more. This will increase the production of mustard in the country, due to which the prices of mustard oil may fall. This will also reduce inflation.

This is the production of lentils

At the same time, pulses are also a staple of Indian food. Lentils and gram pulses are included as daily dishes in the plate of almost every Indian. But, their production is also very less as per the demand. If we talk about lentils, its consumption in the country is 2.4 million metric tons every year. Whereas its production is only 1.2 million metric tons. In such a situation, lentils are imported from abroad. However, despite this, India is the second largest lentil producing country in the world.

Lakhs of farmers will benefit

Lentils are cultivated the most in Madhya Pradesh. Here, farmers sow lentils in about 5.85 lakh hectares.
