We are not saying this but the figures are testifying. As soon as the festive season started, Maruti has made a new record in terms of sales. Sales of the country’s largest car company Maruti Suzuki India increased by 19 percent on an annual basis in October to 1,99,217 units. This is the highest monthly sales figure of the company.
With this sale, Maruti has made a new record. The company said on Wednesday that its sales in the domestic market in October stood at 1,77,266 units, which is its best performance till date. In the same period last year, the company’s domestic sales were 1,47,072 units. In this way, the company’s sales in the domestic market have been 21 percent higher.
Sales of passenger vehicles also increased
Talking about passenger vehicles, here also the company has registered rapid growth. The company’s passenger vehicle sales in the domestic market increased to 1,68,047 units in October, 2023, which was 1,40,337 units in the same month a year ago. However, during this period, sales of the company’s mini cars and S-Presso declined to 14,568 units. A year ago, sales of mini cars were 24,936 units. Whereas in compact units, the company’s sales of Baleno, Celerio, Dezire, Ignis, Swift, Tour S and WagonR increased from 73,685 units to 80,662 units.
Brezza, Grand Vitara, Ertiga shine
The segment that has seen the strongest jump in Maruti’s sales. That is the utility segment. The company has seen a strong growth of 91 percent in sales in this segment. The company sold 59,147 vehicles in this segment with a growth of 91 percent. Earlier the sales of this segment were 30,971 units. The company’s famous vehicles Brezza, Grand Vitara, Ertiga and XL6 models come under this segment. The company has also registered good growth on the export front. The company’s exports increased to 21,951 units in October 2023, which was 20,448 units in the same month last year.
